Portfolio Tracking ::
To track your share portfolio online simply click the following link Yahoo Finance and follow these steps:
- Go to the top left of the page to sign in. If you have an existing Yahoo I.D/email simply input your password.
If not you will have to select New User to go through a short Registration process.
- After sign in go to Portfolio’s (top left of page) and click create.
You will now be able to create 3 different portfolio types. Option 3 is recommended and you can set up numerous different portfolios under
differing names. Select portfolio type and proceed to ‘name’ your portfolio and select your ‘base’ currency – follow instructions on screen.
- Step 2 then allows you to search for stocks on World Markets alphabetically and add them to your portfolio –
follow further instructions on screen.
This short process will allow you to obtain pricing, news, charts and even set alerts when a price reaches a nominated limit price,
a very useful tool in monitoring your stock.
